We tend to see ourselves as individuals with one personality. However through the Voice Dialogue Counselling process we discover a myriad of ‘selves’ each with its own voice, perspective, thoughts, desires, and set of rules for living.
These ‘selves’ form part of our consciousness and have a huge influence on the choices we make through life.
Voice Dialogue was developed in the 1980’s by Clinical Psychologists Drs Hal and Sidra Stone in the USA. They started by exploring the different voices in each other as a way of finding clarity around difficulties in their own relationship.
The Voice Dialogue process is a journey of self discovery as you meet and get to know the different inner voices, some which have never had a chance to be seen or heard before.
Becoming more self aware in this way creates a gradual process of unfolding, incorporating our true nature, touching on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Katy is presently in advanced training with Trilby Fairfax and Peter Dellenson in Martinstown, Dorchester and now offers half hour Voice Dialogue Counselling sessions which can also be part of a Shiatsu or Acupressure treatment if requested.
"Voice Dialogue Counselling has helped me explore different aspects of my character and discover different selves I didn't even realise I had. I feel more whole."
